Each individual withdrawing from the swim club one week prior to May 1st, will receive a refund less $95 ($75 BCSSA fee plus a $20 cancellation fee) of their total fee paid.
- Each individual withdrawing before June 1st, will receive a refund of 50% of the registration fees less $95 ($75 BCSSA fee plus a $20 cancellation fee) of their total fee paid
- After June 1st, there is no refund.
- Pups swimmers will receive a refund up to 1 week prior to their registered session and are subject to a $20 cancellation fee taken off their registration.
In case of a medical reasons, a doctor’s note may be required. The board will review at the first board meeting in September to determine if a refund or credit for next season is applicable. This is at the sole discretion of the board. If approved, a cancellation fee of $20 will be subtracted from the refund total.
BCSSA Insurance Fees are NON – REFUNDABLE at any time of the year. For any group of swimmers (adults/parents, Pups, Rays, Intermediates and Advanced swimmers).
Winterfit (Sep – Apr)
Please note that no refunds will be issued once a session has begun. Cancellations made before the session begins will incur a non-refundable $35 processing fee. In the event of extenuating circumstances, refund requests may be considered on a case-by-case basis and must be submitted in writing. These requests will be reviewed by the board for a final decision. If approved, the $35 processing fee is non-refundable.
The Chilliwack Stingrays Swim Club strives to provide consistent and reliable programming; however, there may be instances where scheduled practices are cancelled due to circumstances beyond our control. These may include, but are not limited to:
- Pool or facility closures
- Severe weather conditions
- Public health advisories or emergencies
- Mechanical or maintenance issues
- Staffing shortages beyond our control
- Other unforeseen events or safety concerns
Please note: In such cases, no refunds, credits, or makeup sessions will be provided. By registering with the Chilliwack Stingrays Swim Club, members acknowledge and accept this policy.
